Why We Built This Site
Kansas provides public routes to many case indexes and court files, but custody depends on the case. The Rooks County Clerk of the District Court keeps district criminal, civil, probate, domestic, juvenile, small-claims, and state traffic dockets. Each incorporated city keeps its own ordinance and municipal traffic records. Kansas CaseSearch can locate public district-court information, while certified or older material may require the clerk or courthouse terminal. This site brings those distinctions, official contacts, and request paths together without claiming to hold the records.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket references: how Rooks County criminal and civil dockets are found and read
- Hearing information: how to check the court schedule and confirm a setting
- Case lookup steps: how to use docket search fields and the statewide portal
- Copy requests: how court case records and certification are requested from the clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Kansas court, clerk, or agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers supply search boxes on some content pages. They control their own services, prices, privacy practices, and results. A completed paid signup may produce a referral fee that supports this reference site. Third-party output is not a certified Rooks County court record and should be checked with the originating clerk.
